Aminoverse, a leader in enzyme discovery and engineering, and Prozomix, a pioneer in enzyme diversity and biocatalyst supply, today announced a strategic collaboration designed to accelerate innovation in industrial biocatalysis.

Under the new agreement, Aminoverse will gain access to Prozomix’s complete portfolio spanning >6000 diverse native biocatalysts for use in its R&D service projects. This enables Aminoverse to integrate the vast biocatalytic diversity curated by Prozomix into its advanced screening and engineering workflows. At the same time, Prozomix benefits from significantly broadened market access, as Aminoverse will bring these enzymes into new client projects worldwide.

Prozomix has established itself as a leading provider of speciality enzymes, offering one of the most diverse biocatalyst collections available. With Pilot and Production facilities offering several cubic meters of flexible fermentation capacity, Prozomix can also rapidly supply bulk amounts of improved enzymes, ensuring reliable and scalable delivery from discovery through to commercial manufacturing. By collaborating with Aminoverse, Prozomix will extend the reach of its portfolio to new applications and enhance its impact on industrial biotechnology, especially with engineered enzymes.
